Role Background

PGIM Real Estate Loan Services is a subsidiary of PGIM Real Estate and one of the largest commercial and multifamily mortgage servicing firms in the United States. PGIM Real Estate Loan Services manages a wide variety of mortgage investments that includes Prudential’s General Account, CMBS, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA loans. The Company is a rated Primary, Master, and Special Servicer. PGIM Real Estate is one of the nation’s largest full-service commercial, multi-family and agricultural real estate lenders and has been serving the commercial real estate market for over 125 years.

PGIM Real Estate Loan Services is seeking a Servicing Specialist for its International Portfolio. The portfolio is comprised of commercial loans originated by PGIM Real Estate outside of the United States and consists of complex loan structures, multiple currencies, and property types including PRS, industrial, office, hotel, and retail. This position will be located in Ireland and Irish hours will apply from Monday to Friday, but there is a requirement to be flexible, specifically during peak times. Hours are subject to change based on role requirements. Strong communication skills are essential as the candidate will interact daily with borrowers, business partners, and third parties around the globe during a pivotal point of growth for the portfolio. The candidate is to provide superior customer service while working under tight deadlines and creating efficiencies when possible.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Servicing/Cash Management – Calculation of debt service, delivery of billing letters, remittance reports and application of waterfall structures.
  • Surveillance – Review of compliance certificates, calculations to confirm covenant adherence, review and analysis of property monitoring reports. Ensure loan compliance is managed proactively including the initial onboarding/entry of loan requirements and the ongoing monitoring. Update watchlist information, proactively monitor property performance, collaborate closely with Asset Managers to identify key trends and issues noting any corresponding mitigants and concisely communicate/present relevant issues, remedies and mitigants.
  • Banking Admin – Managing multiple international bank and borrower relationships
  • Treasury – cash movements for multiple accounts utilizing a variety of banking platforms
  • Proactively communicate issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multiple areas of PGIM Real Estate to ensure the hightset level of service.
  • Anticipate issues that may adversely affect portfolio performance and take action to reduce risks
  • Lead and manage special projects as assigned, as well as propose and drive process enhancements and automation
  • Cultivate both internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved for each portfolio function
  • Review policies and procedures and ensure consistency across regions.

Qualifications and Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years prior commercial mortgage/real estate/finance experience.
  • CPA, ACCA, or CFA designation is desirable
  • Strong financial services acumen and background including analysis of financial statements, business plans, tenancy schedules, etc. is required.
  • Prior loan servicing/asset management experience or working knowledge of commercial loans is preferred
  • Superior analytical and problem‐solving skills are required including ability to identify underlying drivers of results.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal/customer service skills are essential along with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties in other countries.
  • Strong organizational skills are required with the ability to appropriately prioritize, multi‐task, work both independently and collaboratively in a time sensitive environment where meeting established deadlines is critical.
  • Self‐starter/motivated and detail oriented.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required along with general computer skills (Office 365, proprietary databases, document sharing portals, etc.). Power BI experience preferred
  • Ability to work overtime during peak periods required.
