What success looks like:
You’ve completed a number of facilities and building projects valued at over $100M in recent years ideally in education, healthcare, research, pharmaceutical or other similar sectors
Your clients trust you and rely on your knowledge, skills and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives
Your clients are impressed with your ability to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical issues
Your project teams rely on your ability to manage change, communicate and coordinate between multiple stakeholders, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and on budget
You maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal or Regional Vice President
Who you are:
We’re looking for experienced project managers who are looking for the right opportunity to leverage their strong reputation in the institutional sector into a successful leadership role. You bring a wealth of experience leading projects valued over $100M with significant complexity in educational, healthcare, research, pharmaceutical and other institutional environments.
You’re already known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders. You bring in-depth knowledge and have led and managed complex projects from start to finish – on time and on budget. You also maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, keeping them in mind for new business and sales opportunities.

What you bring:
A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management or quantity surveying (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
At least 15 years of experience in project coordination and management for significant projects in the institutional sector such as educational facilities, teaching and classroom facilities, research facilities, laboratories or other similar specialized facilities
Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes, contract law and relevant legislation
Professional industry credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, Registered Architect or other similar industry recognized designation is considered a strong asset
Bonus skills and experience:
Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to effectively influence others and resolve client, project and technical issues
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel
