Regional Sales Manager - Medical – Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia
Location: ON/MB/SK/BC territory / Full-time / Field&Home based


As a Regional Sales Manager for Bioventus, you are responsible for the short term and long term sales growth of the Bioventus portfolio in the provinces of ON/MB/SK/BC region of Canada. The role will recommend and implement sales tactics that deliver and exceed against the business' financial targets, business strategy and product focus.

The role is responsible for the management and development of the Bioventus sales team within the selected region.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, coach and inspire team to achieve best in class performance
  • Recruit, develop and empower top talent
  • Foster environment of continuous improvement and ensure robust development plans are in place for entire region.
  • Lead team to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Build relationships with key customers across region
  • Ensure Medical Education programs are fully utilized across region
  • Partner and network with cross functional leaders in Marketing, Market Access, Sales training, Reimbursement, Medical Education and Compliance to ensure maximum impact to your region and the organization.
  • Identify and anticipate market trends and work as part of leadership team to put in place tactics to capitalize on them.

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree required and Masters level preferred;
  • Dynamic, proactive, results-oriented leadership with well-developed communication skills;
  • “Hands on” management style; adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment;
  • Local market knowledge;
  • Minimum six (6) years’ experience in sales/marketing/sales management;
  • Relevant role/ industry experience: preferred medical device, pharma, biotech or life sciences. Must have experience with hospital-based selling and RFP process. Prior experience with new product launches preferred. This should include proven success in achieving sales objectives in a variety of distribution structures and product segments;
  • Experience working in fast paced individual and team environments;
  • Previous “fast track” management program experience would be an absolute plus;
  • Experience of other roles like marketing or finance also an advantage.
