About The Role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Process Quality Supervisor will be required to work closely with Production Team in the Dry Process area, to resolve non-conformances and put in place effective corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attendance and active participation at daily Operations Meetings
  • Investigation of customer complaints and completion of response to customer
  • Weekly Environmental Monitoring Program activities
  • Internal investigation of non-conformances and subsequent close-out
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and implement any corrective actions from RCA sessions
  • Write-off of stock where necessary by creating disposal forms
  • Monitoring of Pest Control activities and recommendations
  • Complete Glass and Brittle Plastics audits as per schedule
  • Complete indicator swabbing activities
  • Complete GMP audits as per schedule
  • Calibration of temperature probes
  • Allergen swabbing activities


Qualifications And Skills
  • Ideally a Degree in Food Science/Technology or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of food laws – must have prior relevant experience in the food industry (minimum 2 years experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a factory environment
  • Understanding of product certification programs such as Kosher and Halal
  • Knowledge of BRC, SQF, WQA, AQIS, HACCP and GMP
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional Leadership skills with the ability to work smoothly with other functions, and mentor / coach other employees as required
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and change management initiatives
  • SAP knowledge is a major advantage
