Think Mobility (Think) Pty Ltd aims to be a leading provider of lifestyle and mobility aids throughout Queensland. They sell and rent mobility aids to patients funded by Government contracts such as the Department of Veteran Affairs, Medical Aid Subsidy Scheme (MASS), clients funded by private organisations such as insurers and healthcare providers and retail customers.

Think Mobility seeks to position itself as the preferred business partner of referrers such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists through fast, efficient, hassle free, friendly service. They have and will continue to grow both organically and by acquisition. The business currently operates from a Brisbane Head Office with locations in Townsville, Mackay, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, and are now seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Service Technician to join their expanding Townsville operations.

The role:

  • Oversee and conduct the delivery of maintenance services to Think Mobility clients as required;
  • Conduct maintenance services in a manner that enhances the Think Mobility reputation and supports premium positioning of their products and services in the sector;
  • Establish and keep current the required product standards for regulatory compliance of Think Mobility’s rental fleet;
  • Work with the sales department to help build maintenance services as a successful product offering from Think Mobility and which help to build a reputation for quality products and service;
  • Complete scheduled servicing in rural and remote areas.

The Candidate:

  • Proven track record of success in an equipment maintenance role highly desirable;
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment;
  • Demonstrated capability and commitment to building internal and external customer satisfaction and loyalty;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with lots of common sense and a ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Total team focus;
  • Intermediate Computer Skills – an advantage;
  • Sound problem solving skills including the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
