Fishbone Wines is one of Margaret River region’s favourite destinations, offering a unique Cellar Door experience and Japanese inspired casual dining.

We are on the hunt for the right people to fill casual and long term positions in both our Restaurant and Cellar Door.

Restaurant Team Members

What we are looking for are hospitality professionals, who are capable of working in our busy Japanese restaurant.

The ideal candidate should be a skilled communicator, comfortable working in a team environment and be able to create a positive experience for every person that interacts with our establishment.

Applicants must have previous section waiting experience, a commitment to customer service, great food and wine knowledge, coffee making skills, a can do attitude and be experienced in general restaurant operations.

You must hold RSA qualifications, be well presented and due to the location of our establishment it is essential that you have your own reliable transport.

We offer day time hours, operating 7 days a week, therefore weekend work is an essential part of this role.

Gap Year Junior Team Members

We are seeking hardworking and motivated juniors “all-rounders” to join our team. 

The ideal candidates we are looking for are individuals who have recently or will soon be turning 18 years of age, who are wanting to learn about hospitality and gain restaurant experience. This role is perfectly suited to High School leavers looking to work for a gap year.

This role does not require previous restaurant experience, we are happy to train the right person but you must have an interest in hospitality, an ability to work in fast paced scenarios, have a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and great attention to detail to be considered for this role.

Duties within this role will involve food running, washing dishes, clearing tables, polishing glassware, general cleaning, restaurant setup and pack down, serving customers, table waiting and service of alcohol (once 18 year of age).

Candidates applying for this job need to meet the requirements below:

  1. Be able to work both weekends and public/school holidays (over Dec/Jan), day time hours only.
  2. Have excellent communication skills. 
  3. The ability to easily follow directions and instructions.
  4. Be energetic, positive and reliable with a high standard of personal presentation.
  5. Due to the location of our establishment it is essential that you have your own reliable transport.
