The Education Assessments and Collections directorate within the System Performance Division is responsible for the coordination and delivery of enterprise education assessments and their associated data collection functions. This includes the systemic management for the delivery of assessments within schools, including NAPLAN testing and marking, NAP samples, international assessments and being the NAPLAN Test Administration Authority for South Australia.

The National and International Assessments Officer is responsible for providing specialist consultancy services and advice, leading and delivering complex projects which extend across directorates/agencies and ensuring efficient work practices are maintained and upheld within the workgroup. The National and International Assessments Officer coordinates the planning, delivery and evaluation of Education Assessments and Collections and is the primary point of contact for national, international and sample assessments and works with key stakeholders and schools to ensure the assessments are conducted in accordance with agreed timeframes.

This role will be required to work collaboratively and with flexibility across teams, based on peak workloads and priorities.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. A current DHS child-related employment screening will be recognised as a WWCC until it expires. The incumbent will be required to undertake Responding to Abuse & Neglect (RAN) full day/online training course every three years. Remuneration
ASO4 - $72,135 - $75,616 pa
