Wongaburra is a 125 bed community based, not for profit Residential Aged Care Facility incorporating Home Care and CHSP, servicing the local community in Beaudesert, located one hour from Brisbane City and the Gold Coast. 

We are seeking a permanent part time CPA, Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent qualification, to join our team.  The position encompasses the following, but not limited to: 

  • Preparation and presentation of Monthly Financial Board Reports;
  • Preparation of Monthly and End of Year Financials; 
  • Preparation of Profit and Loss Statement; Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements;
  • Preparation of General Purpose Financial Reports; 
  • Completion of Annual Returns to various Government Departments;
  • Preparation of Operational and Capital Budgets including six monthly budget reviews;
  • Liaise with prospective clients/families to explain financial aspects of aged care and applicable fees and charges; 
  • Office Manager functions for Administration / Accounting team;
  • Previous Aged Care experience would be advantageous, but not essential;
  • Remuneration commensurate with experience with Salary Sacrifice available.

The successful applicant should possess previous working experience in high-end administration and is subject to six month probationary period initially.
